Most days you can’t help but wonder…
“What did I do to deserve this? Why can’t I live a normal life like other people… they don’t even know how good they have it.”
Your illness has impacted every area of your life, and you’ve been feeling tired, depressed, discouraged, alone, and afraid.
I want to encourage you and let you know that you are not alone.
I care about what you are going through, along with so many others. Strangers, who can identify with exactly what you are feeling. Though it may not feel that way a lot of the time. But that is only because most people don’t talk about what they’re going through.
I pray that you find healing, hope, restoration, and peace of mind everyday – but especially on the hard days. I pray that you allow God to comfort you in all the areas you are hurting, both mentally and physically.
He is especially close to you during the times you feel the most broken and detached from reality.
I pray that the pain you are feeling will ease, allowing you to breathe easier. To feel lighter.
I pray that you will find at least one reason to smile, to laugh until it aches in the best way, and I pray that you will begin to see that your life is still worth living. This world simply would not be the same without you.
You’ve been longing for peace, and it will come. God wants to carry the burdens you’ve been carrying on your own for so long. You were never meant to face it all by yourself. You are loved. You are seen. You are valued. Don’t give up.
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
