About

Hello, and welcome to this space. I am happy to have you here! My name is Ashley, and I am a Faith-Based Writer, Nature Lover, and Creative.

I am also a Social Worker and Mental Health & Wellness Advocate who is passionate about all things healing. I provide young women with words of encouragement, and practical tips on building self-esteem, overcoming self-doubt,  embracing softness and femininity, and prioritizing mental health and physical wellness.

My friendship with God, along with my passion for mental wellness serve as the foundation for my writing. It is my heartfelt belief that therapy and faith can coexist. In other words, prayer and professional support are both beneficial to ones healing and overall well-being. Here on my website, I share my personal and professional perspective with you in hopes that it will encourage you along your healing journey.

Healing & Clarity

While your pain and trauma is a part of who you are, it is not your full identity. You are capable of SO much more than you can even imagine. You CAN break unhealthy patterns and habits and begin living a beautiful, fulfilling life.

It was not until my early 20’s that I truly began to see the connection between unhealed childhood trauma and my overall quality of life.

When pain is not dealt with in a healthy way… when it is unexpressed… it remains inside of us and may manifest in several different ways.

This may include physical illness, choosing partners and friendships who are not good for our well-being, self-destructive habits, insecurity, depression, anxiety, addiction, and/or seeking love and validation from others. My intention is to shed light upon these issues and to provide you with insight, guidance, and encouragement.

Why this community exists

Everything in this space is a resource that you are welcome to carry with you as you walk your path.

This content is not intended to solve your problems, but rather, to provide clarity and equip you with the extra support you may need as you navigate your wellness journey.

I know how frustrating and confusing it can feel to desire better for yourself, yet, you don’t quite know where to start.

When you are committed to healing, it is important to surround yourself with people, places, and resources that support the person you are trying to become… Which is exactly what this space is for! Extra support is always helpful.

Most importantly, I want you to know that you are not alone. Healing is challenging, but please take a moment to be proud of yourself for CHOOSING to face your truths & deciding that the cycle of trauma ends with you.

I truly look forward to cheering you on along the way & having you as a part of this community.

With love & gratitude,
